A group of 17 Congressional Republicans led by U.S. Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, is calling on Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to provide information on “the total number of illegal aliens currently residing within the United States.”

Representatives Chip Roy (TX-21) and Dan Bishop (NC-8) introduced the Standing Up to the Executive Branch for Immigration Enforcement Act – a bill that would reaffirm the constitutional ability of states to challenge the federal government if it violates immigration law and results in Americans being harmed from those policies.

Representative Roy wrote, “The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the corruption at the WHO, its deep-rooted ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and its stranglehold on the American public health regime.”

“Under the leadership of President Biden and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, America has experienced the worst border crisis in DHS history,” said Representative Roy.

Two years ago, President Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan left more than 1,000 American citizens behind enemy lines, billions in U.S. military equipment in the hands of the Taliban and 13 service members dead. 

We can't say we're against a two-tiered system of justice, and not hold this president and this Cabinet – Mayorkas, Garland – all of them accountable for targeting Americans and abandoning and endangering their country and making a mockery of the Constitution.

A government barreling toward $36 trillion of debt, and an absolute devastating burden on the future of this country, on our children and our grandchildren — who are not going to be able to afford homes, not be able to afford go to school, not be able to afford food, groceries. Talk about food programs, I don't hear a whole hell of a lot about what we're doing to devastate American families with rampant inflation, because we keep spending money we don't have.
