The SO Consortium (also known as Area 1 Workforce Development Board) in Scioto County has been declared “unauditable” for the period July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025, due to inadequate financial records to complete an audit.
The Scioto County Grand Jury handed down indictments Aug. 22 against a Scioto County Commissioner and his wife as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged bribes and public contracts involving the Southern Ohio Port Authority and a Portsmouth-area business park, Auditor of State Keith Faber announced.
