Department of War awards $39.6M to expand solid rocket motor industrial base

The Department of War this month announced three awards totaling $39.6 million to expand the solid rocket motor (SRM) industrial base via Title III of the Defense Production Act (DPA). The awardees are Materials Resources LLC (MRL) in Xenia, Ohio; ICF Mercantile LLC (ICF) in Warren, N.J.; and SPARC Research LLC (SPARC) in Warrenton, Va.

A Xenia man alleged to have evaded law enforcement for nearly an hour and a half during a four-county, 91-mile chase was sentenced recently to two years in prison in Highland County Common Pleas Court.
