The Ohio Department of Commerce Division of State Fire Marshal (SFM) is again teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to highlight Fire Prevention Week, which runs through Oct. 12.

The Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District Station 23 is teaming up with State Farm® and the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®) to promote Fire Prevention Week™, Oct. 6-12, and this year’s theme, “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you.™,” which aims to better educate the public about the critical importance of working smoke alarms.

The Division of State Fire Marshal and the National Fire Protection Association are partnering to celebrate Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 8-14. This year’s campaign, “Cooking safety starts with YOU,” aims to raise awareness about the leading cause of home fires and home fire injuries in the United States: cooking.
