Miami Hurricane center Matt Lee was selected Saturday on the third and final day of the 2024 National Football League Draft.
Lee was selected in the seventh round (237th overall) by the Cincinnati Bengals. Lee started all 12 regular-season games for the Canes after transferring from UCF.
Lee played a key role on an offensive line that was named to the midseason honor roll for the Joe Moore Award, and he earned second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors.
Miami’s streak of 50 straight years with at least one NFL Draft pick, dating back to 1975, is the fourth-longest active streak of any FBS program nationwide.
