Chillicothe Paints specialty license plate now available to Ohio drivers

Chillicothe Paints fans can now show their support with a newly-created specialty license plate. The Chillicothe Paints, presented by CohenOrthopedic, announced the availability of the new license plate last Wednesday.

"This is incredible," said Chillicothe Paints team president Bryan Wickline. "We never dreamed our logo would be available to anyone in the state of Ohio on a license plate."

The Chillicothe Paints specialty plate, featuring the team's primary logo at the left and the words "Paints Baseball" in red at the bottom, is available to any Ohio driver by visiting a Bureau of Motor Vehicles location with a Deputy Registrar License Agency and online at OPLATES.com.

"All the thanks go to state Rep. Mark Johnson for doing all the heavy lifting in accomplishing another milestone in our long history," added Wickline. "We also want to thank Printex Printing for helping in the initial design and everyone that signed our petition at our home games this summer."

The Chillicothe Paints specialty plate, like all specialty plates in Ohio, carries a $35 fee. The Paints receive $10 from every plate sold.

The Chillicothe Paints are a summer-collegiate, wood-bat baseball team playing at VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe, Ohio. Averaging over 2,000 fans per game, the Paints are one of the most well-attended collegiate-summer teams in the nation. The Paints provide fans with affordable, high-quality entertainment on and off the field, while players compete in a highly-competitive, minor-league-style environment.
