Bill Wilson resigns as Wilmington College senior director of athletics
Wilmington College has announced that Bill Wilson has resigned his position as senior director of athletics to pursue other professional opportunities.
During his tenure, Wilson established a graduate assistant coaching program and facilitated the addition of three full time coaching positions along with a strength and conditioning coach.
Additionally, Wilson oversaw updates to the new sound systems added in Hermann Court and the Wilmington Natatorium, a new track and lights at Williams Stadium, and new digital scorer's tables in Hermann Court.
"I am grateful for the people I met at Wilmington and the opportunity I had to serve as the senior director of athletics," Wilson said. "I am proud of the accomplishments during my tenure and wish the college well."
Wilmington College will begin a nationwide search for their new director of athletics immediately.
