LCHS wins against Fairfield
In girls bowling action on Thursday, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs defeated Highland County rival and SHAC foe, the Fairfield Lady Lions at Highland Lanes.
The Dec. 4 win for Lynchburg-Clay saw them be led by Maddie Brault with a score of 436 (228, 208), and then the next-highest scorer for the Lady Mustangs was Kylee Chaney at 357 (175, 182). Kylie O’Connor totaled a 309 score (145, 175), and the remaining game scores were: Lizzie Shreve (118), Abby McGuire (113), Jamison Miracle (105) and a sub score of 139.
LCHS had a Baker score of 489 (152, 188, 149).
The Lady Lions were led by Lilly Hilterbran at 260 (119, 141), and from there it was Kenzi Ramsden at 229 (125, 104). Layla Howard scored a 194 (111, 83), and the rest of the scoring included Eloise Roehm (83) and Mckenna Self (81).
Fairfield’s Baker score was 278 (80, 97).

Indians win against Miami Trace
Facing the Miami Trace Panthers at LeElla Lanes in Washington Court House, the Hillsboro Indians boys bowling team defeated the host MT squad by a score of 2627-2306 in Frontier Athletic Conference action.
The Indians were led by Camden Lively with a score of 472 (246, 226), and he was followed by Steven Rodgers at 414 (160, 254).
Next for Hillsboro was Cylas Everetts at 386 (176, 210), then the next-highest results were Jay Reno at 375 (182, 193) and Austin Huff at 192). HHS also had a sub score of 129. The Indians’ Baker total was 659 (202, 235, 222).
Miami Trace had a Baker total of 554 (183, 170, 201), and their leader for the day was Cole Whiteside at 437 (212, 225).

Lynchburg-Clay tops SHAC foe Fairfield Lions
Two Highland County teams from the Southern Hills Athletic Conference faced each other at Highland Lanes on Thursday (Dec. 5) as it was the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs defeating the Fairfield Lions at 2327-2056.
For the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs, their leader was Tristin Puckett with a 438 score (205, 233). Next was Mason Brault at 361 (180, 181), and Tyler Partin finished with a score of 358 (143, 215).
The Mustangs also had Noah Aronhalt score a 322 (151, 171), while the remaining scoring was Harley Lewis at 191 and AJ Brown at 159.
LCHS had a Baker total of 498 (191, 170, 137).
Fairfield was led at the lanes by Raymond Gleadle who had a total of 336 pins (155, 181), and next were Ethan Bartley (171, 160) and Morgan Hughes (162, 169) each with a score of 331.
The Lions also had Noah Eldridge with a score of 293 (106, 187), followed by Titan Crowder at 275 (147, 128). Fairfield’s remaining final scores were: Liam Hughes at 274 (161, 113), Kobi Reid (125, 146), Logan Hix at 197 (115, 82) and Hayden Ault at 156 (80, 76).
FHS had a Baker score of 513 (200, 133, 180).

Lady Indians earn FAC win over Miami Trace
Hillsboro girls bowling defeat the host Miami Trace Lady Panthers on Dec. 4 by a score of 2413-2292 at LeElla Lanes in Washington Court House.
The Lady Indians earned the win as Rylie Ison was the leader at 465 (242, 223), and following her was Sidney Bayless with a pin total of 403 (213, 190). Next were Cami Miller at 395 (204, 191) and Madison Nichols with a score of 387 (206, 181).
HHS also had scores from Rylee Moyer (166) and a sub score of 137.
The Lady Indians’ Baker score was 459 (147, 150, 162).
