Tigers lose by one run against Logan Elm

On Thursday, April 17, the McClain Tigers lost a non-conference game to the Logan Elm Braves by a 3-2 score, as the Tigers rallied to make it a one-run game in the seventh inning at Beavers Field in Lancaster.
The Tigers scored their two runs with one in the sixth and the aforementioned one run in the bottom of the seventh inning. LEHS scored all three of their runs in the top of the fourth inning.
McClain finished the game with seven hits and one error, while Logan Elm had six hits and one error.
For the Tigers, they had Conner Chandler finish 3-for-3 with one run and a walk.
Alex Perie went 2-for-3 with an RBI, as one of his hits was a double.
Hunter Peabody finished 1-for-3, and Hudson Lovett was 1-for-4. Cohen Six ended the game with a run and a walk.
Steals by McClain were credited to Six, Peabody, Lovett and Chandler, who had two.
Chandler also pitched seven innings for McClain. He allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and five walks with three strikeouts. He totaled 98 pitches, 58 for strikes.
The loss moves the Tigers to 2-7 overall this season.
