Johnson, Frost collect top SHAC girls track and field honors

The 2024 Southern Hills Athletic Conference Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year were recognized at the SHAC spring sports banquet.
The Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year is Payton Johnson of Peebles. Johnson won the long jump, 100m dash and 200m dash at the 2024 SHAC meet.
Earning Girls Track and Field Coach of the Year honors is Fairfield coach Cohen Frost. The Fairfield Lady Lions were SHAC champions, winning the meet with 146 points.
