Fairfield Lions golf wins SHAC tri-match against Eastern, Peebles

The Fairfield Lions boys varsity golf team competed in a Southern Hills Athletic Conference tri-match Wednesday (Aug. 6) where they left the course as the winning team.

Fairfield won the three-team event with a score of 183, followed by Eastern at 188 and Peebles with a score of 191.

Van Bennington led Fairfield with a score of 42, followed by Greyson Abbott who carded a score of 45.

Also scoring in the 40s was Caleb Barrera at 46.

The Lions also had a score of 50 from Titan Crowder, while Pierce Abbott carded a 55 score, and Ethan Bartley finished at 67 for the event.
