First, on Friday, June 15, one of the area's finest rock bands, After Dark, returns to the Fling Barn stage.

"These guys rocked the Barn last fall with a great sound, super light show and a unique song list, ranging from classics by Dire Straits, Steely Dan and Pink Floyd to disco hits from groups like Wild Cherry and country-rock by Marshall Tucker, among others," said Dr. Bill Fling.

The band includes Randy Ravenscraft on keyboards, Kevin Best on drums and Mark Thomas and Justin Amyx trading off on bass and lead guitar, allowing the group to perform their wide variety of material.

On Saturday, June 16, the Fling Barn presents "Blues with an Attitude with Them Bones Blues Band.

This group features Little Al Thomas on guitar and vocals and Sonny Hill on keyboards and vocals backed by Larry Malott (Bass) and Tom Hamman (drums).

They have won several "Blues Challenges" in the Cincinnati area and in 2010 finished third out of 110 bands at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. This group performs hard-drivin' electric blues that will keep you rockin'.
