Triple-L 4-H Club elects officers

By
Mikayla Duncan-
The Triple-L 4-H club had its first meeting on Sunday, Feb. 21 at the home of advisor Jaime Simmons. Members and parents looked at the 4-H catalog to determine what projects the members would like to take this year.
Advisors Jaime Simmons and Tara Davis handed out project forms, a list of meeting dates, and a list of important 4-H dates. Looks like the advisors have plenty of fun activities for us this year.
Our club is 26 members strong for 2010.
Triple-L 4-H Club had their second meeting on March 7. The 2010 officers were elected at this meeting. They are President Tori Priest; Vice President Sydney Cornwell; Secretery Kaley Davis; News Reporter Makayla Duncan; Safety Officer Emily Schmidt; Health Officer Brenna Simmons; and Photographer Courtney Hodson.
At this meeting, we had our annual Fear Factor competition. This is where we are tempted to eat a variety of foods while blindfolded. This year's winner was Kami Magee. Second place went to Brenna Simmons.
Our next meeting will be March 21 where we will begin doing our demonstrations.
