St. Vincent dePaul Society outreach days April 12, 23

The St. Vincent dePaul Society and St. Mary Catholic Church in Hillsboro will have outreach days in April. SVdP volunteers will be available to meet with individuals and families who are seeking assistance on Saturday, April 12 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and also on Wednesday, April 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. at St. Mary Parish Hall, 119 E. Walnut St., Hillsboro. Please bring ID, copies of bills that you need help with, and verification of income. You do not need an appointment. People will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. The local St. Vincent dePaul Society was the recipient of a $1,000 grant from the Walmart Distribution Center in Washington Court House. The grant funds will be used to provide financial assistance to needy families in the form of payment of utility bills, food, rental assistance or other emergency needs.
