Society of St. Vincent de Paul announces outreach sessions

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) in Hillsboro has announced their outreach sessions for the month of July. The first one will be on Saturday, July 12 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the St. Mary Parish Hall, 119 E. Walnut St., Hillsboro.  

The outreach session is an opportunity to meet with SVDP volunteers to discuss needs for assistance. Please bring ID, verification of income and copies of bills that you are seeking help with. Assistance is limited to once per year. No appointment is necessary. Due to the SVDP annual rummage sale the date for the second outreach session for the month is being changed to the last Wednesday in July (July 30) from 6-7:30 p.m.  

The SVDP rummage sale will be held on Friday, July 25 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, July 26 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Drop-off of items for the sale will be Wednesday, July 23 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, July 24 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. We accept good, clean items. No electronics, please.
