Snoopy to visit the library

On Tuesday, June 1, Snoopy of Peanuts fame will visit the Lynchburg Library all the way from King's Island. The program, which begins at 11 a.m., and will kick off this year's Summer Reading Club for children, teens and adults. This year's theme is "Make a splash at your library!" Snoopy will act out a story and give out bookmarks and King's Island coupons to every child. Anyone who wants to meet Snoopy and get a photo taken with him should bring their cameras. Frito-Lay for donated snack bags of chips and pretzels for the event. This event is also the perfect time to sign up for the Summer Reading Club.
