Retired Teachers to meet Feb. 3

The Highland County Retired Teachers’ Association (HCRTA) will hold its regular winter meeting on Monday, Feb. 3, at the Hillsboro Church of Christ fellowship hall. The church is located at 155 W. Walnut Street. 

Social time will begin at 11 a.m., and the meal will be served at noon. 

Following lunch, the guest speaker will be Julie Seaman, executive director of the Hope House Christian Counseling Center in Sinking Spring. She will discuss all the various counseling services provided by Hope House. The community service project for this meeting is also the Hope House Counseling Center.

The business meeting will follow the speakers’ presentation. The cost for the meal is $14. Please contact Treasurer Leone Bihl at (937) 393-3913 to make reservations. All retired educators are invited. The meeting will be canceled only if Hillsboro City Schools are closed due to weather issues.
