Pricetown Partners 4-H Club reports on latest club events, demonstrations

The Pricetown Partners 4-H Club held a meeting at the Lynchburg Clay High School on July 6 starting at 7 p.m.
There were 15 members and seven guests present.
Emma Setty, Ty Setty, and Matt West led the pledges. Entry Day is July 23 from noon-6 p.m. The car wash will be held on July 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (two, 2-hour shifts) at Terry’s Grocery.
Rabbit tattooing will be on Aug. 7 from 8-10 a.m. The chicken pickup is July 29.
The Consumer and Family Science Judging at Southern State Community College was held July 13.
The entire club wishes Colten Angles and Becky Dabbs the best of luck. The Skill-A-Thon boards will be available at the next meeting.
Four demonstrations were done at the meeting. Erin Rowlands did a demo on the faults and disqualifications of rabbits.
Austin Mullenix did a demo on incubating chicken eggs and brought two chicks he raised from eggs.
Austin Waits did a demo on the stripping and rebuilding of motors.
Amber Allen did a demo on cattle equipment.
The next meeting will be held on Aug. 10 at the Lynchburg Clay High School at 7 p.m.
