Pricetown Partners 4-H Club met on June 15

The Pricetown Partners 4-H Club held a meeting on June 15 at the Lynchburg Clay High School from 7-8 p.m.. There were 17 members and 7 guests present.
Noah Rowley, Amber Allen, and Kara Williams led the pledges. There were two Officer Reports: Claire Magee had a Treasurer Report stating that the club has $1,184. Jake Wilson had a News Reporter Report about a Petting Zoo at Liberty Park on June 16.
The Car Wash and Bake Sale will be held at Terry’s Grocery on July 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. The Consumer and Family Science Judging and the State Fair Judging will be in July. The project books need to signed at the July 6 meeting for the Consumer and Family Science Judging. All members need to buy their Fair Pass at Entry Day, which is on July 23. As a reminder, the Chicken Pickup is on July 29. There were four demonstrations at the meeting: Ty Setty did a demonstration on how to clip a rabbit’s toenails; Matt West and Emma Setty did a demonstration on the tattooing of rabbits; Noah Rowley did a demonstration on the handling and flipping of rabbits. Jake Wilson did a demonstration on the proper care of a pet rabbit.
