Premier Showmen members bring smiles to campers at KAMP Dovetail

Members of the Premier Showmen 4-H Club recently spent an evening volunteering at KAMP Dovetail, where they helped create a fun-filled experience for campers by operating 25 different carnival games. From ring toss and bean bag games to other exciting activities, the club members kept campers entertained while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and plenty of smiles.

Throughout the evening, the volunteers greeted campers with enthusiasm, explained the games, handed out prizes, and made sure every child had the opportunity to participate. Their positive attitudes and willingness to serve helped make the carnival one of the highlights of the campers' week.

Members volunteering at KAMP Dovetail included Austin Bohrer, Brayden Cummings, Christian Cummings, Cora Fullenkamp, Chloe Fullenkamp, Clare Fullenkamp, Jase Fannin, MJ Fannin, Dwight Hamilton, Brooklynn Hamilton, Kennedy Hamilton, Kalen Juillerat, Kenely Juillerat, Khloe Juillerat, Payton Luschek, Wyatt Luschek, Brooklynn Stevens, Bricen Stevens, Carter Warnock, Colton Warnock, Beau Watson, and Zach Watson.

Community Service Officer Dwight Hamilton reflected on the evening, saying, “Both the youth of the club and the campers had a great time getting to play games together. It was rewarding to see everyone smiling, having fun, and making new friends throughout the evening.”
The community service project provided members with an opportunity to put the 4-H pledge into action by using their hands for larger service while giving back to youth in the community. Through projects like this, Premier Showmen members continue to develop leadership, citizenship, and compassion while making a positive difference in the lives of others.

The Premier Showmen 4-H Club is proud of all of the volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the evening a success. Their dedication to serving others is a wonderful example of the values of 4-H and the club's commitment to strengthening the community through service.
