Members of the Premier Showmen 4-H Club recently completed a community service project focused on showing appreciation to local leaders who make a difference in the community every day.

As part of the project, club members filled candy jars with peppermints and attached a special tag that read, “Gover-mint works better because of leaders like you. Thank you for all you do!”

Club members visited the Paint Creek Fire Department to personally deliver the candy jars and express their gratitude to the firefighters who dedicate their time and efforts to protecting and serving local residents.

The visit provided an opportunity for youth to thank the firefighters for their commitment, bravery, and service to the community.

The Premier Showmen 4-H Club is proud to recognize the individuals who work behind the scenes to keep the community safe and strong. Through projects like this, members learn the importance of citizenship, service, and giving back to those who make a positive impact on the lives of others.
