This summer, the Premier Showmen 4-H Club teamed up with Mowrystown Church of Christ and Modern Woodmen of America to spread sunshine to over 150 folks in four different counties, including a few nursing homes, shut-ins and Highland County Senior Citizen Center.

This was a 4-H leadership project organized by Kenley Juillerat for her “My Hands to Larger Service” project.

The kits included items such as bubbles, beach balls, word searches, hand lotion, chapstick, pens and candies. Premier Showmen 4-H club held a donation drive to collect the items for the sunshine kits, Modern Woodmen helped provide resources and Mowrystown Church of Christ members helped assemble the kits, prayed over and delivered 80 kits to the Monarch Meadows Assisted living and Nursing Home and shut-ins.

Premier Showmen, Mowrystown Church of Christ and Modern Woodmen met to deliver over 40  kits to the Highland County Senior Center members.

Dan Mayo with Modern Woodmen also delivered 30 kits to Cape May Assisted Living. A total of 150 kits of sunshine brought so many smiles to the people who delivered and received these kits in our community.
