Premier Showmen 4-H Club holds sheep showmanship clinic

Payton Lusheck, a member of the Premier Showmen 4-H Club, hosted a successful sheep showmanship clinic at her home on Aug. 1 for the members of the Premier Showmen 4-H Club. 

The clinic, led by experienced instructor Stacie Rhonemus, provided club members with valuable hands-on experience and expert guidance on improving their showmanship skills.

The event offered an excellent opportunity for 4-H members to learn the ins and outs of handling sheep in a show environment.

Stacie Rhonemus, known for her expertise in the field, demonstrated the best practices for presenting and leading the animals, while emphasizing techniques to help the youth enhance their overall showmanship.

Participants were encouraged to actively engage by asking questions and working directly with the sheep, gaining firsthand knowledge on how to handle their animals confidently and effectively. We would like to extend a thank-you to Stacie for helping prepare the youth to be successful in the sheep industry and for the upcoming fair.
