BAINBRIDGE — The Paxton Theatre is proud to announce the world premiere of "Neverland, A Jukebox Musical Adventure," an original family musical debuting this June as part of the theatre’s expanded summer youth program.

This season marks an exciting milestone for the Paxton Theatre. For the first time, the theatre has launched a dedicated Junior Production for performers ages 6–14. In previous years, the Paxton summer youth production included performers ages 6–18 in a single show. This summer, the program has expanded into two separate productions: the junior cast will present "Neverland, A Jukebox Musical Adventure," followed by the teen production of "Something Rotten."

"Neverland, A Jukebox Musical Adventure" will be presented at the Paxton Theatre on Saturday, June 13, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 14, at 3 p.m.

Created by the Paxton Theatre, "Neverland" is an original production being performed for the very first time. Inspired by the beloved world of Peter Pan, the show promises a fun-filled journey featuring familiar characters, humor, adventure, youthful energy, and music for audiences of all ages.

The production features a talented cast of young performers from across the area, including Addyson McKeehan as Peter Pan, Jolie Williamson as Tinker Bell, Charlie Sharp as Wendy Darling, Kayden Wiseman as John Darling, Arlee Hixon as Michael Darling, and Zeke Noe as Captain Hook.

The Paxton Theatre’s summer youth productions are known for fostering creativity, encouragement, and community. Parents and community volunteers work together to create high-quality theatrical experiences that provide local youth with meaningful opportunities in the performing arts. That spirit of collaboration continues to shape each production and make the program a memorable experience both onstage and off.

The production also reflects the enduring legacy of the Paxton Theatre, a historic community landmark with deep roots in Bainbridge. Since 2015, the theatre has been operated by the nonprofit Paxton Theatre Foundation and managed by a board of dedicated local residents committed to preserving and promoting the arts in the region.
