Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation golf outing sets all-time fundraising record
The 2024 Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Golf Invitational raised over $110,000 for foundation scholarships, grants and programs that help enhance agricultural communities and support careers in agriculture, setting an all-time record for the annual event.
Participation in the foundation’s annual golf invitational supports the future of Ohio agriculture. The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation believes that for agriculture to continue to grow and thrive, it must be cultivated. Through its work, the foundation is building a steady flow of young people with the knowledge, training and skills to enhance the industry.
“We are so grateful for the support, engagement and awareness this event brings to the agriculture industry as a whole,” said Amy McCormick, Ohio Farm Bureau foundation board president. “Raising over $110,000 allows the foundation to continue our focus to inspire and educate the next generation of agricultural professionals through scholarships, innovative programming, and grants.”
The event was held June 24 at Scioto Reserve Country Club in Powell and hosted 180 golfers.
The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation offers a special thank-you to the event sponsors, especially Nationwide, who served as the title sponsor for the event. This successful day would not have been possible without the generous support of sponsors and participants.
The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation, a 501(c) (3) charitable, nonprofit organization, understands the need to inspire innovation and cultivate investment in Ohio’s farm and food community. Learn more by visiting ofbf.org/foundation.
