The Modern Woodmen of America, Highland County Chapter, recently honored Premier Showmen 4-H adviser Lynette Hamilton as a hometown hero, following heartfelt nominations submitted by club members.

The hometown hero program is designed to recognize and reward volunteers – such as teachers, firefighters, and community advocates – who demonstrate outstanding service and selfless commitment to their communities.

As part of the recognition, honorees receive a commemorative plaque or certificate along with a $100 donation to a nonprofit organization of their choice. Lynette generously directed the $100 award back to Premier Showmen 4-H Club, continuing her dedication to supporting youth leadership and development.

This recognition reflects the meaningful impact Lynette has on the lives of young people and the broader Highland County community.
