     Angie Miller, RN, of Highland District Hospital, has been nominated for the Albert E. Dykes Healthcare Worker of the Year Award.
     Angie has provided excellent nursing care to the patients of the hospital. She started her nursing career in 1980, moving throughout the organization. She has touched many lives through her various roles in her current role. She meets with all patients preparing to have surgery. As these patients are often anxious and nervous, Angie goes out of her way to explain every detail entailed with their specific surgery. She comforts the patients and cares for each of them individually. She personifies what every employer looks for in an employee.
     Congratulations to Angie on this outstanding award nomination.
