Marshall Jr. Farmers 4-H Club holds July meeting, judging awards

Marshall Jr. Farmers 4-H Club held a meeting July 22. During this meeting, Abigail Shawhan and Carl Shawhan presented demonstrations. 

Abigail’s demonstration was on how to care for a dairy feeder calf. Her calf’s name was Garth; she will be showing him this upcoming fair. 

Carl’s demonstration was on ATV safety. 

Upcoming events were discussed and our club started painting trash cans for the fair grounds. 

Our club had many involved in the 4-H July judging to qualify to compete at Ohio State Fair. Our members all enjoyed their projects and learned a lot. Bryson Cloud Addison Fisher, Rhonda Turner and  Hanna West will all be representing Marshall Jr. Farmers and Highland County at the State Fair in their projects.
