“Caring. Close to Home” is a fitting tagline for Highland District Hospital. It seems just as fitting for a 15 year volunteer who just chalked up 5,000 volunteer hours. Marjorie Cook is a volunteer who has been committed to the mission of caring through her service to HDH as a volunteer.
Marjorie was a case worker at Highland County Human Services, and has lived in Hillsboro all of her life. She currently volunteers in the Pre-Admission Testing area. Some of her duties include greeting people, making appointments, and putting together charts and files. Marjorie’s willingness to serve is invaluable to Highland District Hospital, and the lives she touches through volunteering.
Congratulations to Marjorie Cook, we’re proud she is on the HDH team.
