The Highland County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Malita’s Place LLC on May 29, 2026, to celebrate their opening. Malita’s Place is owned and operated by Malissia Burns and is located in Hillsboro at 145 Catherine Street, B. Malita’s Place has nearly 30 vendors that sell primitives, antiques, farmhouse, vintage, collectibles, and handmade items.

(Hillsboro, OH) – Malita’s Place, located in Hillsboro, celebrated their opening with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with family, friends, and members of the community on May 29, 2026. Malita’s Place is owned and operated by Malissia Burns. 

Malissia Burns and her sisters started Malita’s Place in memory of their mother. Malita’s Place has nearly 30 vendors that sell a variety of items that include primitives, collectibles, and handmade items. 

Malissia would like to thank the Chamber, her family, the community, and Hillsboro.
