Lynchburg-Clay Boy Scouts partner with local food pantry to help others in need
The holiday season is a time for friends, family and giving. This year has been no exception.
Boy Scouts from Lynchburg Pack 120 partnered with the Pricetown Church of Christ, to provide food items for its Angel Food Program.
The program helps to provide much-needed assistance for local families.  
During the holiday season, it is common for these types of programs to experience an increase in requests for assistance.
Together, the Pack’s “Scouting for Food” program accumulated a significant amount of canned goods and other food items. 
  The following boys participated: Ben Adams, Seth Adams, Hunter Balon, Casey Barger, Daniel Bauer, Jeremy Bingamon, Nathan Brown, Daniel Bohl, Nathan Burns, Jacob Crist, Cayden Clutter, Ryan Fenner,Gavin Frazier, Kurt Hamilton, Ryan Hornschmeier, Thomas Hutchinson, Darren Madden, Brady Minton, Michael Naylor, Dakota Prye, Devin Prye, Zane Rossellott, Jacob Stewart, Joseph Stewart, Logan Throckmorton and Collin Whisman.
Thanks to the efforts of these boys, many local families were able to receive assistance from the Angel Food Program.
