Lucky Green holds two meetings

The Lucky Green 4-H Club held two meetings. The first meeting was held June 25 at the home of the Cluffs. The meeting was called to order by Advisor Twila Satterfield. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Lane Hetzel and the 4-H pledge was led by Lane Cluff. The treasurer's report was read by Tiffany Satterfield. The club's balance is currently $510.44. There was no secretary report. Roll call was taken by Twila Satterfield asking members their favorite fruit. There were seven members, six advisors, and four cloverbuds. The club discussed 4-H Camp. Members who went are Lane Cluff and Lexey Hetzel, who both went to Beginner camp. Shaylee Carson adjourned the meeting, and Reece Bloomfield seconded the motion.
The next meeting was held July 12 at the home of the Satterfields. The meeting was called to order by President Heather Storer. The American pledge was led by Lane Hetzel and the 4-H pledge was led by Lane Cluff. The treasurer report was read by Tiffany Satterfield. There was no secretary report. Roll call was taken by Kaelee Sexton asking members their favorite type of ice cream. There were nine members, seven advisors, four cloverbuds, and four guests present at the meeting. There were three demonstrations: Heather Storer on How To Read Ear Notions, Lexey on Nutrition and Exercise, and Shaylee on Sew for Others. The next meeting will be held July 23, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the home of the Hetzels' grandmother.
