The Hillsboro Chapter of Modern Woodmen of America partnered with the Hillsboro Emblem Club 277 with a service Project to purchase diapers for distribution to area families through the First Baptist Church of Hillsboro “Diaper Depot” program and the Southern Ohio Pregnancy Center in Hillsboro.

The club designated Wednesday, May 27 as the day to deliver diapers to the two organizations. They celebrated with a dinner on June 9 at the Elks Golf Club with Modern Woodmen representatives Dan and Bev Mayo joining them in support of the project.

Financial Representative Dan Mayo said, “Modern Woodmen is pleased to be able to help The Hillsboro Emblem Club in their efforts to better the community by providing much needed resources to families in need. We look forward to continued work with this great group later this fall. They do wonderful work in the community, and this is just the kind of organization we like to support by providing $350.00 in funding toward the project. We thank Modern Woodmen member, Emma Selby, for her good work in coordinating the project.”

Founded in 1883 as a fraternal benefit society, Modern Woodmen of America offers financial services and fraternal member benefits to individuals and families throughout the United States.  For more information about Modern Woodmen and its services, call Financial Representative Dan Mayo at 937-725-0445 or daniel.w.mayo@mwarep.org.
