Our Summer Reading Program is going great! We have 318 signed up - enjoying a great summer read and hopefully winning some great prizes. Library camp has been exciting as well - with a grand total of 375 attending. We will be drawing for grand prizes on August 1.
We want to thank all of our summer reading sponsors – Cincinnati Reds, Chillicothe Paints, Community Markets, Dominos, Greenfield Mother’s Club, Kathy Decker, Kings Island, McDonald's, New Sabina Industries, Newport Aquarium, Ohio Renaissance Festival, Robbins Village Florist, Sav-A-Lot, Star Cinema, Subway, Tecumseh, and your Library.

JULY 20 – 5:00 PM – BOOKWORMS – Our adult book discussion group meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday. The book chosen for this month is “The Map of True Places” by Brunonia Barry. Stop in and pick up a copy and join us. Everyone welcome.
JULY 20 & 26 – 10:00 – 12:00 NOON – DAWNA JO KIESLING will be at the library to share information and recipes for healthy eats & treats. Stop in and pick up a few.
JULY 25 – 6:30 PM – GENEALOGY CLUB meets. Each month on the last Monday evening this group meets to learn more about genealogy searching. This month Military Records will be the subject. Everyone invited.
AUGUST 17 - 6:00 PM - SAUNDRA CRUM AKERS, Author, will join us for a booktalk and signing. She has written several books with our locality as the setting. This will be a fun evening of book sharing and refreshments. Everyone invited.
STORYTIME – 11:00 AM --FOR 2’S & 3’S. Stories, crafts, music, just lots of fun.
DROP-IN CRAFTS FOR KIDS – Check out the monthly crafts that kids can do when they visit the library!
We want to thank Brenda Conaway and Jason Hughes for stopping by the library with their new books and meeting our patrons. It’s always fun for our local authors to stop by.
