Summer Reading Adventure is going GREAT! Our theme this summer is "Make a Splash - Read." We have been having a great time in our Library Camp and Storytimes with this theme. We have 437 signed up at this time for our summer reading adventure and it's not too late. You can sign up for fun summer reading anytime through the end of July. Summer is a great time at YOUR library!

JUNE 23 JULY 14 Wednesday mornings from 10:30 Noon GREENFIELD LIBRARY CAMP. There will be stories, crafts, games, & refreshments. This free camp is for ages 4 grade 4. Please pre-register.
JUNE 26 2 PM The Greenfield Historical Society and the Greenfield Library Genealogy Club will present a program with Liz Plummer from the Ohio Historical Society. She will introduce all the resources available at the OHS for people searching for family history. The day will start from 10:30 noon with self guided tours of the Greenfield Historical Society buildings, then a lunch from noon 1:30 pm, then the guest speaker at 2 pm. The lunch and program will be at the Greenfield First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall and there will be a $10 charge per person to cover the lunch, program & tour. Stop at the library and pick up a form or call 937-981-2905 with any questions.
JUNE 28 6:30 PM Genealogy Club. Ike Hodson, Highland County Recorder, will be the speaker. He will tell about all the available information that the recorder's office has to help people searching for family genealogy information.
JULY 1 - 11 AM Noon - STROKE SUPPORT GROUP - this group is for stroke survivors, caregivers, or families of stroke victims. It will be the 1st Thursday of each month and is presented by the Greenfield Area Medical Center.
JULY 5 LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED.
JULY 19 DAWNA JO KIESLING, from the Highland County Extension Office, will be with us from 3 5, sharing great summer ideas for snacks and nutrition.
JULY 21 5 PM - THE BOOKWORMS (adult book discussion group) The July selection will be a readers choice short story. Stop by, pick up a book & join us. Everyone is welcome.
JUNE 24 6 PM SNOOPY will be at the Greenfield Library to tell some stories and take pictures with the children. This presentation is sponsored by Kings Island. Everyone invited.
We have great weekly Storytimes: Tuesday - 11 am - 2's & 3's & caregiver -- Thursday - 6 pm age 3 & up. They include stories and a craft or activity.
