The season for Thanksgiving is here, and we all certainly have much to be thankful for. Here at the library, we are thankful for a beautiful facility; many items to help, to teach, to entertain and to inspire; and for our many patrons that add a smile to our days.
Our upcoming events include:
• Nov. 11 – Library will be closed in honor of Veterans Day.
• Nov. 16, 5 p.m. – Our adult book discussion group meets monthly on the third Wednesday. The book chosen for this month is "Spoken from the Heart" by Laura Bush. Stop in and pick up a copy and join us. Everyone is welcome.
• Nov. 21, 3-5 p.m. – Dawna Jo Kiesling will be in the library to provide healthy recipes and ideas for Thanksgiving.
• Nov. 23 – Library will close at 4 p.m.
• Nov. 24 - Library will close for Thanksgiving.
• Dec. 3, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Greenfield Library Christmas Shop. Seasons Readings Christmas Club continues throughout November. Children ages 3 - grade 6 may participate in this fun holiday event. Every time a child checks out and reads five books, they get a dollar of Merry Money, which they can spend on Dec. 3 at our Christmas Shop. They can read and collect Merry Money till Dec. 1. They bring in their Merry Money and can buy gifts for all those on their shopping list.
• Dec. 7, 3-5 p.m. – Dawna Jo Kiesling will join us with healthy Christmas recipes.
• Storytime Tuesdays - 11 a.m. - for ages 2-4. Stories, crafts, music, just lots of fun. Plan to join us.
• Drop-in Crafts for Kids: Check out the monthly crafts that kids can do when they visit the library!
