It is really hard to believe that it is December again and time for
poinsettias, pine, and pies. We at the Greenfield Library want to say
thanks for being great patrons, and hope you are preparing for a great
Christmas. Times are a lot harder for many people this year, but the
greatest gift of Christmas is love. Share kindness and joy with all you
meet and your holiday season will take on new happiness. If you need
some new ideas, or recipes, or entertainment, stop by and check us out.

Check out these upcoming events:
   * DECEMBER 1 – 5:00 – 7:00 PM – Black-Bearded Wheat Weaving. Elaine
     Cekola-Menard will be leading this craft workshop. Please
     pre-register for this class.

   * DECEMBER 3 – 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM - - STROKE SUPPORT GROUP- this
     group is for stroke survivors, caregivers, or families of stroke
     victims. It will be the 1^st Thursday of each month and is
     presented by the Greenfield Area Medical Center.

   * DECEMBER 5- 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM – GREENFIELD LIBRARY CHRISTMAS GIFT
     SHOP. This shop is for those children who have been reading and
     earning Merry Money to buy gifts for everyone on their list.

   * DECEMBER 8, 15 – 6:00 – 7:00 PM – ADULT ART CLASSES- Dianna Hisey,
     Art Education Specialist, has volunteered to offer, free of
     charge, these art classes for beginners or advanced students.
     Please pre-register for these classes.

   * DECEMBER 9 – 12:30 – 2:30 PM- Dawna Jo Kiesling from the Highland
     County Extension Office will join us with lots of ideas and
     take-homes for healthier eating and stretching those food dollars
     for the holiday season.

   * DECEMBER 18 – 5:00 PM - THE BOOKWORMS (adult book discussion
     group) –The book for December will be your choice of a Christmas
     Book. Stop by, pick up a book & join us. Everyone is welcome.

   * DECEMBER 24-27 – Library will be closed for the Christmas Holiday.
     You may return library items in our outside book drop.

We have some great weekly Storytimes: _Tuesday – 11:00 am - 2’s & 3’s &
caregiver -- Thursday – 6:00 pm – 4’s – 6’s. They include stories and
a craft or activity.
