Lead Summary

-
On Saturday, May 15th, 22 volunteers graciously participated in "Green Up Day" in Lynchburg.

Nearly 20 flower barrels and pots were planted with flowers along Main Street.  The large entrance of the Glenavy subdivision was cleaned out, trimmed and planted with flowers.  The library was also freshened up with new flowers.  In addition, trees were planted at Cramton Park.

The BLOOM (Beautifying Lynchburg Our Only Mission) group of Lynchburg sponsored the event by supplying flowers from Dye Nursery.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made this event possible and really brightened up Lynchburg!
