Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley celebrates with ribbon cutting
The Highland County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley on April 10 to celebrate the grand opening of their Adult Day Support Center. Goodwill is located at 500 Harry Sauner Road, Hillsboro.
Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley celebrated the grand opening of their Adult Day Support Center in Hillsboro with a ribbon-cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, along with family, friends, and members of the community on April 10, 2026. Goodwill is located at 500 Harry Sauner Road, Hillsboro.
Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley’s mission is to empower people with disabilities and other disadvantages to achieve independence and improve their quality of life. The Adult Day Support Center serves as an example of this mission, offering respite care for families and caregivers while allowing participants to socialize and engage with their community.
“At our Adult Day Support Center, every person is welcomed into an environment tailored to their unique needs and aspirations. With small staffing ratios, participants receive personalized attention, ensuring their days are both meaningful and enjoyable. The staff are more than just caregivers; they are friends and advocates. Services include door-to-door transportation and engaging activities Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We are also able to offer our Explore program which is our community based Adult Day Program.“
Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley would like to thank the Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities for their partnership, encouragement, and referrals, the Highland County Chamber of Commerce for its business and promotional support, and Arcon Builders for partnering with us to develop the expansion and maintain the overall look and feel of the building while creating a beautiful and functional space for participants.
