Ginny Johnson guest speaker at DAR meeting

At the March meeting, members of Waw-wil-a-way DAR, enjoyed a program, “Myth or Truth,” by NSDAR Museum mobile docent Ginny Johnson.  

She talked about items that are attributed to a famous person in history which may not be true.  

DAR members discussed plans for the America 250 celebration on July 18 in Highland County. DAR continues, along with the Southern Ohio Genealogical Society, to place articles on the Highland County Revolutionary Soldiers in The Highland County Press.  

DAR members are working with the Highlanders Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) to dedicate the new monument to the Revolution at 6 p.m. July 18.
