Fitzgerald promoted to private first class

    Jesse V. Fitzgerald has been promoted to the rank of private first class in the U.S. Army.
    Fitzgerald, a utilities equipment repairer, is the grandson of Virginia Fitzgerald of Hillsboro. His wife, Kayla, is the daughter of Tim and April Rollison of Heath, Ohio.
    The private is a 2003 graduate of Fairfield High School.
