Faulconer passes CIC examination

Highland District Hospital is pleased to announce that Cathy Faulconer, RN, CIC has successfully completed the Certification in Infection Control examination.
Achieving this certification is no small feat. Candidates must have the appropriate education, training and professional experience to qualify to sit for the examination. To be successful in this endeavor shows a great deal of commitment, professionalism and competency as an infection control practitioner. Certification represents an infection control practitioner and a hospital's commitment to continual improvement of infection prevention and control functions and their contribution to health care and patient safety.
Cathy has been a nurse at Highland District Hospital for 13 years, and has served as the Infection Control Practitioner for 9 years. Congratulations to Cathy on this achievement.
