Emblem Club holds March meeting

The Hillsboro Emblem Club met on Tuesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. at the Hillsboro Elks Lodge.  Reports were read and approved.  An article was read by the Americanism Chairman on Black History Month for the February meeting that was cancelled due to the weather.  
A donation will be sent to the Hillsboro High School After Prom Committee, Highland Co. Society for Adults and Children Telethon and to the DARE Program. 
Scholarship applications are available to any Emblem Club member’s family who will be attending college this fall.  A report was given on the business that was conducted at the State Association meeting held in January.  The next state meeting will be April 10 and 11 in Nelsonville, Ohio. 
The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Elks Lodge.  Members continue to run the refreshment sales at Bingo every Monday night at 7:00 p.m.
