Demonstration rally for Extension office, soil and water district at SSCC

OSU Extension Highland County and the Highland Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting a rally this week, showcasing the programs that each office has to offer the citizens of Highland County. The event is scheduled for Friday, April 16 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Southern State Community College in Hillsboro. The program will feature guest speaker Ryan Harrell of FT. Wayne, Ind. who will share his success as a nuclear scientist and college professor and share how skills learned through 4-H designed his success. There will also be a demonstration by a raptor rescue group using live barn owls and other birds of prey. Free admission - open to the public.
