Daughters of the American Revolution hold joint meeting

Members of Waw-wil-a-way Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution attended the joint meeting with hostesses Taliaferro Chapter in Georgetown.  

Other chapters represented were Ripley-Lieutenant Byrd and Sycamore.  

After the opening ceremony, the Country Inn served a delicious meal.  

Ned Lodwick presented a very interesting program on Civil War mascots. Mascots were all sorts of animals, dogs, squirrels, hens and roosters.
