Cornerstone Assembly of God Church welcomes new pastor

Mark W. Smith and his wife, MaryAnn, have recently been elected and accepted the lead pastoral position at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Hillsboro. Smith assumed the position in mid-May of this year.

Pastor Smith has served churches in Texas, Arkansas and Ohio and has been in nearly continuous ministry 35 years. He and his wife are graduates of Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo. Both Smith and his wife are ordained ministers in the Assemblies of God.

Pastor Smith, who is originally from the Dayton area, and his wife will be relocating to the Hillsboro area this summer.

Cornerstone Assembly of God Church is located at 836 South High St. in Hillsboro.
