Community Action Committee of Pike County issues correction

Valley View Health Centers, a program of the Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC), is issuing a correction to the press release distributed on January 27, 2026 regarding the addition of Dr. Sharon Ware, DO, to the Waverly Health Center.

In the previous announcement, it was incorrectly stated that Dr. Ware "completed her residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General." 

The accurate information is as follows: Dr. Sharon Ware completed an internship at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.

We are issuing this correction to ensure the utmost accuracy in reporting Dr. Ware’s professional credentials and to remain in full compliance with Ohio medical board and licensing disclosure standards, as well as ensuring Valley View Health Centers’ integrity and transparency.

All other information regarding Dr. Ware’s start date of January 5, 2026, her background in Addiction Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), and her commitment to serving the Pike County community remains accurate.
