Community Action announces Summer Food Service Program for Children
The Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program for Children. Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under or persons over 18 who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled. The meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Any person who believes he or she has been discriminated against in any USDA-related activity should write or call immediately to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Director, Office of Adjudication, 1400 Independence Ave. S.W., Washington, D.C. 20250-9410; or call toll-free (866) 632-9992 (voice). Individuals who are hearing-impaired or have speech disabilities may contact USDA through Federal Relay Service at (800) 877-8339 or (800) 845-6136 (Spanish). USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer. Meals will be provided at the site(s) listed below beginning on June 4 and running until Aug. 3.

• First United Methodist Church, 133 E. Walnut St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. (This site is in cooperation with the Daily Bread.) Lunch served 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Greenfield Elementary School, 200 N. 5th St., Greenfield, Ohio 45123. Lunch served 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Highland County Family YMCA, 201 Diamond Circle, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. Lunch served 11:30 a.m. - noon.
