Are you always looking for ways to be a better parent? If so, Celebrating Parents is for you – and it's free for any Highland County resident.
For centuries, parents have felt they had accomplished a great deal if they simply managed to raise their children to adulthood. Well today, parents are raising fewer children but expecting more of them in the process. Parenting has become almost a science, the subject of a host of books, magazines, and classes.
The Ohio State University Extension is offering an opportunity to learn additional parenting skills and celebrate the joys of parenthood. The first session will be taught by Rose Fisher Merkowitz, Family and Consumer Sciences Educator in Highland County.
Each session will be offered in the morning and afternoon on the dates and times as follows:
Dec. 16, 2010, 10:30 a.m. - noon or 2:15 – 3:15 p.m.
Jan. 20, 2011, 10 – 11:30 a.m. or 1 – 2:30 p.m.
