Caretenders celebrates National Home Health Care Month
WASHINGTON C.H. - Caretenders VNA-Fayette, formerly known as Fayette Home Health, is celebrating National Home Care Month by honoring their staff for a tradition of excellence and senior advocacy.
Formerly known as Fayette Home Health, Caretenders was acquired one year ago, employing most of the staff that served Fayette County Memorial Hospital's Home Health Agency since 1985. They provide physical occupational and speech therapy, nursing, nurse aides, and social services.
"We are senior advocates, and our passion is to serve those at risk, and deliver skilled services to homebound patients, as ordered by their doctor," said Caretenders director Jackie Ellison. "It is a privilege to serve those who have served us all their lives. Patients general recuperate better in their familiar surroundings, so we plan tot help them do just that."
Caretenders VNA provides services in Highland, Clinton, Fayette, Ross and Greene counties.
